Justin Hedges OBE Founding Partner and Executive Chairman
Justin retired from the Royal Marines and Specialist Military Units (SMU) in 2018 as one of the youngest Royal Marine Brigadiers ever. His unrivalled insights into the formulation of strategies and operational plans are drawn from command and control roles within the UK’s National Security Architecture. As Deputy Commander of UK SMUs, he demonstrated vision and ingenuity to generate a 10-year transformational programme of capability worth £1bn pa; developed inter-agency security strategies; and created crisis response plans for the PM in COBR. Justin was appointed as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for outstanding leadership on operations.

Damian Huntingford OBE Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer
Damian retired from the Royal Marines and Specialist Military Units in 2018 after a 20-year career. He brings direct experience of leading combat operations and orchestrating intelligence development activity in support of national objectives. He is particularly skilled in identifying talent, building effective teams and designing campaign frameworks. For his exemplary command of a Specialist Military Unit engaged on multiple missions Damian was made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Hefin Jones MC Prevail Group Risk Advisor
Formally Head of Global Security for an upstream Oil & Gas company, Hefin was responsible for the environmental safety and security of the company employees and assets across the globe. He led upstream exploration and licensed operator projects, delivering community engagement and local security employment within ethical CSR models. With a proven track record of success and growth, Hefin has an extensive network of trusted Industry contacts. Before entering the Petroleum sector, he had a 26 year career in the Royal Marines and a Specialised Military Unit (SMU) with his last appointment as SMU Regimental Sergeant Major. Hefin provides commercial acumen for Prevail in emerging markets.

Daryn Liddle Director Prevail Insight
Daryn served for 11 years as a British Army Intelligence Officer. He has worked on discreet multi-agency operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as conventional campaign operations in Afghanistan. He brings expertise in leading Counter-Intelligence and Counter-Terrorist Targeting teams as well as building bespoke intelligence cells. He has recent commercial experience in synthesising the latest technological capabilities in both the overt and covert environments to deliver unique insight to senior decision makers and their organisations.

Matt Heaven Director Prevail Advisory Services
Matt retired from the British Army and Specialist Military Units in 2016. He has extensive experience of planning, coordinating and commanding Special Operations around the world. As a planner in the UK Ministry of Defence and in a variety of liaison and advisory positions he provided advice to senior military and government officials, both in the UK and internationally.

Jonathan Hart Prevail Group General Counsel
Jonathan Hart specialises in commercial law with particular expertise in complex transactions with an international bias. He has been, among other appointments, General Counsel to a mobile telecommunications group operating in emerging markets, and a commercial trouble shooter. Jonathan is a Senior Counsel with Charles Russell Speechlys, a City law firm. Jonathan advises the Prevail Group on legal and policy compliance.

Kirsty Wheeler Prevail Group Financial and Commercial Manager
Kirsty is an enterprising leader with expertise in guiding organisations through the commercial landscape. Over the past 15 years she has been actively involved in establishing and growing companies in the transportation, retail and security sectors. She holds a first class bachelor’s degree with Honours in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from the Imperial College London Business School. Kirsty delivers a commercial management role for the Prevail Group.
